My name is Andrea Bonales but you may call me Dre. I am an animation student from Rialto California currently studying at California State University of Fullerton. I am pursuing a Bachelor’s of Fine Art in Entertainment Art/Animation and am on track to graduate in the Fall of 2025. CHARACTER DESIGN
As an animator, I currently have a large interest in Character Design. My work shows my skills and techniques that I have picked up from personal interest and my studies.
ILLUSTRATION
Illustration is another passion of mine which has developed immensely due to a passion project. Torn is a comic that I have began back in 2020 and have continued to develop. I am currently laying out the illustrations for the second book.

I have had the privilege of working on a variety of small cinematic projects with local collectives and friends from the Inland Empire. I was able to gain enough knowledge to direct a experimental dance short.
Photography was my first medium that allowed me to push my boundaries and pursue film and animation. I pay homage to 35mm film photography as it holds a special place in my heart.
